Quickstart
Start with one question. PlansFlow gives it a project where sources, findings, and next steps stay connected. A project holds everything a piece of work touches — sources, findings, files, boards, and whatever you generate from them — and this page takes you from an empty workspace to a project that is genuinely carrying its own context.
Before you start
You need an account and nothing else. The Free plan includes 75 PF-Credits each month, five projects, and 1 GB of storage, which is enough to work through everything below.
Credits are only spent on model work — generating text or images, running a research query, or an edit. Creating projects, moving cards, and uploading files cost nothing.
Create a project
From the dashboard, describe what you are starting in one sentence. The project is created around that description, and it becomes the context every other tool reads.
Example
Research the regulatory landscape for medical devices
in the EU, and draft a market-entry brief.
A short, specific sentence works better than a long one. You are not writing a prompt — you are naming the thing the project is about.
Bring in research
Ask a question from the project and the answer arrives as a block on the canvas, with its sources attached. Sources stay with the finding permanently, so you can check where something came from months later.
- Web search — grounded answers with citations, saved into the project.
- Files — drop in PDFs, images, documents, or links; they become material the project can read.
- Notes — anything you write yourself sits alongside the rest and carries the same weight.
Organise on the canvas
The canvas is an infinite spatial surface. Group what belongs together, connect blocks that relate, and let the shape of the work come from the material rather than from a folder tree.
Connections are not decorative: context follows the lines. A block wired to three sources carries those sources when you use it.
Move work through a board
When a project firms up, move it onto a board. Cards travel from open question, to reading, to decided, to done — and each card keeps the research that produced it, so a card is never just a title.
Boards and canvas are two views of the same project, not two places. Moving a card does not detach it from its sources.
Generate from context
Anything you generate draws on the project you have built rather than on a blank prompt. Select the blocks that should inform the output, and the engines use those.
Example — with context selected
Draft the executive summary. Use the three regulatory
findings and the cost table, and keep it under 400 words.
Because the context is explicit, the output is reproducible: the same selection and the same instruction will get you the same shape of answer tomorrow.
